We want our competitions to be enjoyable, transparent and responsible.
Entering competitions should be treated as a form of entertainment. It should never be treated as a way to make money, solve financial problems or guarantee a return.
No Guarantee of Winning
Entering a Pursuit of Blue competition does not guarantee that you will win.
Your chance of winning depends on the competition format, the number of valid entries received and the winner-selection process stated on the relevant competition page.
You should only enter if you understand that you may not win a prize.
Spend Responsibly
You should only enter competitions within your own means.
Do not spend money on entries that you cannot afford to lose.
Do not use borrowed money, credit intended for essential living costs or money needed for rent, bills, food, debt repayments or other important commitments.
Age Restriction
Pursuit of Blue competitions are intended for adults only.
Unless stated otherwise, you must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to enter.
We may ask for proof of age, identity and address before awarding a prize.
Account Controls
If you feel that you need to take a break from entering competitions, please contact us.
We may be able to help by restricting, suspending or closing your account.
Account closure or restriction may affect any active entries, depending on the competition rules and the timing of your request.
When Not to Enter
You should not enter Pursuit of Blue competitions if:
- you are under 18;
- you are not eligible under the competition rules;
- you do not understand the competition terms;
- entering would cause financial difficulty;
- you are trying to recover previous losses;
- you are entering under pressure from someone else;
- you are using someone else’s payment details without permission.
Support
If you feel that paid competitions, prize draws or similar activities are becoming a problem for you, we encourage you to seek support from an appropriate advice or support organisation.
Pursuit of Blue reserves the right to restrict or close accounts where we believe continued use may be harmful, irresponsible, fraudulent or contrary to the spirit of our competitions.
