General Position
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when refunds may or may not be available for Pursuit of Blue competition entries, subscriptions and related payments.
This policy should be read together with our Competition Terms and Conditions, Website Terms of Use, Subscription Terms and any specific rules shown on individual competition pages.
Competition Entries
Once a competition entry has been submitted and confirmed, entry fees are generally non-refundable.
This is because your entry may be processed immediately and included in the relevant competition entry list or draw process.
You should carefully check the competition details, prize information, entry price, closing date and eligibility requirements before entering.
When Refunds Will Not Usually Be Given
Refunds will not usually be given where:
- you change your mind after entering;
- you enter the wrong competition by mistake;
- you later realise that you are not eligible;
- you provide incorrect contact details;
- you fail to answer a competition question correctly, where applicable;
- you are disqualified for breaching the competition rules;
- you use more than one account;
- you fail to claim a prize in time;
- your entry is validly included in a draw but does not win.
Duplicate or Failed Payments
If you believe you have been charged more than once by mistake, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask for payment references, screenshots, order numbers or bank information to investigate.
Where a genuine duplicate payment has been made and only one entry was intended, we will review the payment and may issue a refund where appropriate.
Cancelled, Suspended / Amended Competitions
If a competition is cancelled by Pursuit of Blue before the draw takes place, we may offer one or more of the following:
- a refund;
- entry into an alternative competition;
- account credit;
- another fair solution depending on the circumstances.
If a competition is suspended or amended due to technical, legal, supplier, payment, fraud or operational reasons, we will explain the next steps where reasonable.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the matter is investigated.
If a chargeback is found to relate to a valid competition entry, we may cancel entries connected to that payment and restrict future participation.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be reported to the payment provider and relevant authorities.
Subscriptions
If Pursuit of Blue offers subscriptions, subscription cancellation rules will be explained in our Subscription Terms.
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments or entries already issued, unless required by law or stated otherwise in the subscription terms.
Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy affects any legal rights that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.
If a refund is required by law, we will deal with it in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
