About These Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms apply where Pursuit of Blue offers a paid subscription, membership or recurring payment plan.

They should be read together with our Competition Terms and Conditions, Website Terms of Use, Refund and Cancellation Policy and any subscription details shown at checkout.

What the Subscription Includes

The exact benefits of each subscription will be shown on the relevant subscription page.

A subscription may include benefits such as:

  1. monthly competition entries;
  2. member-only competitions;
  3. discounted entries;
  4. early access to selected competitions;
  5. exclusive fishing prize draws;
  6. email updates;
  7. other membership benefits stated on the website.

Only the benefits clearly listed on the subscription page are included.

Subscription Billing

Subscriptions may be billed monthly or at another frequency shown at checkout.

By subscribing, you authorise Pursuit of Blue or its payment provider to take recurring payments using your chosen payment method.

The subscription price, billing frequency and renewal date will be shown before you complete checkout.

Automatic Renewal

Unless cancelled, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the next renewal payment if you do not want to continue.

Cancelling a Subscription

You may cancel your subscription by using your account area, where available, or by contacting us at:

contact@pursuitofblue.co.uk

Cancellation stops future subscription renewals.

Cancellation does not automatically refund subscription payments already taken, entries already issued or benefits already used, unless required by law or stated otherwise.

Entries Included With Subscription

If a subscription includes competition entries, the subscription page will explain how those entries are allocated.

This may include:

  • how many entries are included;
  • which competitions they apply to;
  • whether entries are automatic or must be claimed manually;
  • whether unused entries expire;
  • whether entries can be transferred;
  • what happens if a subscription is cancelled.

Subscription entries may be subject to competition limits, eligibility rules and closing dates.

Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, we may attempt to take payment again.

If payment remains unpaid, we may suspend or cancel the subscription.

While a subscription is unpaid, suspended or cancelled, you may lose access to subscription benefits and future competition entries.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time.

If the price of your existing subscription changes, we will aim to give reasonable notice before the new price applies.

If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

Changes to Subscription Benefits

We may update, replace or remove subscription benefits where necessary for business, operational, legal or technical reasons.

We will try to make sure any replacement benefits are fair and reasonable.

Major changes will be explained on the website or by email where reasonable.

Eligibility

Subscriptions are only available to users who meet the eligibility requirements stated on the website.

Unless stated otherwise, subscribers must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.

We may ask for proof of identity, age, address or eligibility.

Responsible Subscription Use

Subscriptions should be used responsibly.

You should not subscribe if the recurring cost would cause financial difficulty or if you are using the subscription as a way to chase prizes or recover previous spending.

You can cancel future renewal payments if you no longer wish to continue.

Account Closure

If your account is closed because of fraud, misuse, multiple accounts, abusive behaviour, chargebacks or breach of terms, your subscription may be cancelled and any unused benefits may be lost.

Legal Rights

Nothing in these Subscription Terms affects any legal rights that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.
